Mindless child and responsible adult alike, no one is immune to excess. In this performance, I was building a revolting picture, eating without manners, having no control over my intake, chewing together foods in disgusting combinations, and finally, leaving it all to rot in the gallery for 2 weeks. Repeating the violence and repulsion of abundance that I saw in Flemmish still-lives, I exhibited it again in different terms.
